BIOGRAPHY
As enigmatic as he is talented, Christopher is known for his intense dedication and meticulous preparation towards the roles he plays, and his ability to morph from character to character, traversing multiple genres. He was described by one Director as “a rare combination of artistry and professionalism”.
He grew up on a farm in the rural Midwest. A passionate and driven artist, Christopher started out musically at the age of 5 on the piano, and by the age of 8 was considered a gifted musician and vocalist. He continued to study and perform while growing up, fronting and touring with several successful music groups including The Vagabonds, and landing leading roles in musical theatre productions such as Carousel and Guys & Dolls among others.
In 2004 he and his wife moved to Austin TX where he would pursue work as a composer, which would, as fate would have it, lead to a leading role in a small independent film. Having only worked in the theatre prior, Austin would prove to be his seque into film and television. He remained in Austin for 2 years, landing roles in a variety of smalller budget independent films, working regularly as a commercial actor, and studying at the Paramount State Theatre School of Performing Arts.
In 2006, Christopher and his wife moved to Los Angeles, where he worked regularly in commercials, landing small roles in film and television, while also studying for several more years through the accelerated conservatory style Stanislavski based curriculum at the Howard Fine Theatre, the Larry Moss Studios / Edgemar Center for the Performing Arts, and studying Improv Comedy at both the renowned Groundlings Theatre and Second City.
Currently, Christopher, along with his wife and children still reside in LA where he continues to work as an actor in film and television, as a composer, songwriter, and screenwriter. He recently starred as the Series Lead Jake Fisher in the highly acclaimed cult favorite mini-series "Bright Falls", and also appeared in the Fox hit TV show Bones. He also appears in recurring roles on two of Daytime TV's highest rated soaps, "The Young & The Restless" on CBS, and "Days Of Our Lives" on NBC. A regular in the commercial world, Christopher recently appeared in a new national Ford commercial campaign being directed by Jon Favreau. A multi-talented hyphenate, Christopher was also recently selected by Grammy Award winner Lee Ann Womack as a winning singer / songwriter in the Global Continental Music Competition for his song "Think Again". In addition, he is an active Screenwriter and Producer, with several projects in various stages of development.
When he’s not acting, writing, or composing, you can find Christopher at the beach surfing, reading a good book, or hiking in the Malibu & Santa Monica Mountains. He and his wife are also active hospice volunteers.
